The Marvel Legends action figure line expanded this month with a special deluxe edition of the iconic Hulkbuster. Originally slated for an October 1 release, the Hulkbuster 85th Anniversary Deluxe Action Figure arrived a bit early and is in stock at Amazon for $60.
The cool thing about this action figure is that it is designed to be in scale with the regular six-inch collectibles in the Marvel Legends line. On its own, it dwarfs those toys with a height of nine inches and it comes with cool extras like a removable helmet, a Tony Stark head, additional armor pieces, and an extra pair of punch-happy fists. This particular suit is based on the version designed by artist Adi Granov, which was featured on the cover of a 2006 issue of Iron Man.
The Hulkbuster also has an impressive amount of articulation, so you can create a pretty cool diorama piece if you pair it with a Hulk from the Marvel Legends line. In case you need one, this MCU-inspired Gladiator Hulk shown below released last year and should go nicely with the Hulkbuster. Like the Hulk who appeared in Thor: Ragnarok, he’s rocking cool gladiator armor, has several weapons, and he’s sized at the correct scale. Plus, he can strike several great poses.
